1. AGE RESTRICTIONS:
1. You affirm that you are not younger than age 14. If you fall below the age of 14, there are many Local, State, and Federal laws that--while designed to protect you, severely limit the freedoms you may observe as well as place large liabilities on owners of communities such as this one. If you are younger than age 14, you may not create an account here!
2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
1. You agree that you understand that RaveMatch.com shall not be held liable for any damages that may happen either directly or indirectly as a result of your membership on this site, and you agree to indemnify RaveMatch.com and its operators from any claims resulting from any damages suffered resulting from said membership.
3. ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR:
1. You affirm that you will not use any RaveMatch.com services for the purpose of harassment. Any users that are reported to be harassing other members will have any and all accounts terminated IMMEDIATELY, and depending on the circumstances law enforcement may be notified. Harassment may be defined as any of the following: any continued and undesired attempts at contacting another member after they have asked you not to contact them any longer, the promotion of hate or intolerance, and/or lewd/sexual contact (whether desired or not). If you are encountering any users who are acting in a harassing manner under this definition, we encourage you to contact immediately so that it may be dealt with appropriately.
2. You affirm that you will not use any RaveMatch.com services to promote hate or intolerance of individuals or groups (as interpreted by the site and board administrators) and that such activity will be construed as harassment pursuant to section 3a.
3. You affirm that you will create profiles on RaveMatch.com services only for the sole private purpose of meeting other individuals, and not for any advertising, commercial, or for-profit ventures.
4. You affirm that you will not use any RaveMatch.com services in the furtherance of illegal activities.
5. You affirm that you will not enter any information indicating an intention or desire to committ illegal activities at a future time.
6. You affirm that you will not use any RaveMatch.com services for the solicitation of sex or sexual activity with members whom are below the age of majority (age of consent) within your jurisdiction. Any lewd or sexual communication with or between underage members in this fashion is illegal and is expressly forbidden under this agreement. Violation of this section is grounds for action per section 3a above, as this sort of conduct will be construed as harassment and will be reported to the authorities.
7. You affirm that you will not make any attempts to circumvent security processes in place designed to restrict access to certain areas of the site, and agree that you understand that such activity may result in the termination of any and/or all accounts found to be accessing the website from your location, as well as referral of your activities to the proper authorities.
8. You affirm that you will not access any account not owned by yourself without the account owner's permission, and that unauthorized use of other's accounts may result in the termination of any and/or all accounts found to be accessing the website from your location, as well as referral of your activities to the proper authorities.
9. You agree that you will maintain only *one* account and profile on this site, and that creation of additional and/or fake accounts and/or profiles may result in the termination of any and/or all accounts found to be accessing the website from your location.
4. PRIVACY POLICY:
1. You agree that you understand that any information provided to RaveMatch.com is kept in the strictest confidence, and will never be sold/given to any third parties (excepting the sale of the website in it's entirety, or the sharing of information necessary for cooperation with subpoenas as issued by any federal, state, or local authorities).
2. You agree that you may be subject to e-mail/postal mailings sent from RaveMatch.com on behalf of our partners, with these sorts of mailings to occur no more often than twice per month.
3. You agree that you may be subject to e-mail/postal mailings sent from RaveMatch.com regarding directly the operations of RaveMatch.com as often as is deemed necessary at our discretion.
4. You agree that you understand that any information posted to the public forums will be viewable by any and all other users utilizing RaveMatch.com's services.
5. You agree that you understand that all activity on the site is logged and may be used internally to assure compliance with this agreement.
5. OBLIGATIONS:
1. You affirm that any personal information entered by you into our database is true, complete, and correct to the best of your knowledge, and that intentional falsification of any data entered is considered a breach of this agreement.
2. You agree that you understand that RaveMatch.com is under no obligation to allow your usage of any and all user accounts should the staff deem your information incomplete, inaccurate, or deem your behavior inappropriate.
3. You agree that you understand that you are under no obligation to pay for any and all services you utilize on this website for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date and time of initial account creation.
4. You agree that you understand that beyond the timeframe as set forth in section 5c, that the following services and only the following services will be guaranteed free of charge:
1. Hosting of your user profile which is not to exceed 50 kilobytes, and a maximum of two (2) photographs, neither of which may exceed 100 kilobytes each of storage space.
2. Receipt, storage, and access to the viewing of e-mails destined for your user account(s) whether they be from RaveMatch.com members or external sources. VIP members have unlimited storage space in their mailboxes, while regular members have a storage limit of 2 megabytes.
3. The executing of searches on the RaveMatch.com members database based on username, country, state/province/etc, city/town/etc, search radius from that specific location, gender, age range (provided said range is within the terms as prescribed in section 1a), and photo status.
5. You agree that you understand that any services beyond the aforementioned services may, at RaveMatch.com staff discretion, be provided either free-of-charge or at a premium.
6. You agree that you understand that the only obligations RaveMatch.com holds to users with "free", "trial", or non-paying accounts consists of the following:
1. Notification of changes in the nature of services offered (ie., if a free-of-charge service will be changing over to a premium or paid service) in advance of 2 weeks of said change. Ravematch.com will never automatically subscribe users of free services to such a changeover, all continuations of service must be customer initiated to avoid an interruption of service.
7. You agree that you understand that RaveMatch.com may, at our discretion, discontinue any or all services offered without prior notice and without refund.
8. You agree that you understand that RaveMatch.com may, at our discretion, disable your access to any or all services offered either temporarily or permanently without prior notice and without refund.
6. USER IMAGES POLICY:
1. You affirm that any and all images or photos you place on RaveMatch.com are owned entirely by you and that you have full rights to place said image online.
2. You agree that you will not post any of the following types of pictures anywhere on the website:
1. Pictures that feature nudity, implied or otherwise, and/or are of a pornographic nature.
2. Pictures which could be construed to show the act of consuming illegal substances.
3. Pictures of subjects less than 18 years of age dressed in a manner which would be unacceptable on a public beach.
3. You affirm that you grant RaveMatch.com the non-exclusive right to use said images or photos in any marketing campaigns, either in print or otherwise.
7. ACCOUNT CANCELLATION:
1. You agree that you understand violation of any of these terms is grounds for immediate cancellation of any and all accounts held on RaveMatch.com and forfeit of all monies (if any) paid for said account(s).
2. You agree that you understand that accounts may or may not be cancelled for violation of these terms at the sole discretion of the RaveMatch.com administrators.
3. You agree that if you do not log into your account for a period of more than one (1) year, your account and all information pertaining to your account will automatically be deleted, and you will have to create a new account should you wish to use the website again.
8. TERMS SUBJECT TO CHANGE:
1. You agree that you understand that these terms are subject to change at any time without prior notice, and that your continued usage of this website shall serve as indication of acceptance of any changes set forth to these terms, and that the responsibility for keeping abreast of these terms lies solely upon the users of the RaveMatch.com services.
